This software development kit (SDK) provides imaging technology designed to enhance photo management software, online photo services, kiosk applications, and more. PICTools Photo contains low-level C libraries providing the fastest compression and decompression engines and the most powerful photo editing capabilities available. It provides total control over image manipulation, compression, decompression, and conversion. PICTools Photo provides commercially supported software development libraries for HD Photo, JPEG, JPEG 2000, GIF, and more. Ideal for photo image editing, this SDK also provides advanced JPEG editing within compressed JPEG DCT space for auto red eye detection and removal, auto contrast, auto color level, color image deskew, and more. Performing advanced JPEG editing within compressed DCT space avoids the generational loss and visual artifacts caused by decompressing and recompressing JPEG images.
