ObjectSharp specializes in providing .NET consulting and training services to our customers, helping their development teams adopt .NET best practices. As part of our consulting efforts, we have work extensively in the field of automating business processes. This includes exploring alternate methods for accepting input from users, particularly the extraction of contextual information from preprinted forms. Users provide information in a familiar format and the data is extracted and used as input into the computer systems which are already part of every company's back office. I am pleased to say that with the use of the components from Pegasus Imaging, we have been very successful in helping our clients in these areas. To accomplish this end, we needed to use many of the tools that Pegasus Imaging provides, including the Smartscan Xpress and ImagXpress controls. With the ingenious application of the Pegasus Imaging tools, along with some timely assistance from the Pegasus Imaging support staff, we were able to provide clients with the ability to extract data from practically any type of form image. |
