PEGASUS IMAGING PURCHASES TAMPA PROPERTY TO ACCOMMODATE GROWTH |
TAMPA, FL, JANUARY 15, 2008 – Pegasus® Imaging Corporation, the leading provider of digital imaging technology, today announces its purchase of commercial property at 1725 Martin Luther King Blvd. in Tampa, Florida. The additional real estate will support the growth of the Pegasus software development group. The headquarters will remain at 4001 North Riverside Drive, also in Tampa. Pegasus Imaging will invest in renovating the 1963 building, although the foundation and structure are superior. Once finished the almost 10,000 sq. ft. of space will feature new common areas, offices, conference rooms, windows and doors. Other planned property improvements include upgrades to parking, lighting, landscaping and fencing. “Our growth strategy requires a steady increase in the number of software developers we have on staff in Tampa,” says Jack Berlin, president of Pegasus Imaging Corporation. “We continue to heavily recruit and will fill our existing space more quickly than anticipated. The close location of this building to the headquarters is ideal. This investment is inline with our goal to keep our software development teams in close proximity.” Bret Walley Building Contractor LLC and Perry M.
