PEGASUS IMAGING EXPANDS INTO NEW CORPORATE HEADQUARTERS |
TAMPA, FL, June 27, 2005 - Pegasus Imaging, the leader in digital imaging software development technology, today announced it has moved its corporate headquarters to a newly renovated building that is larger and better suited to accommodate the company's growth. In coordination with the move into this 21,000 sq. ft. building in Tampa, Florida, Pegasus Imaging plans to hire up to 10 new full-time employees during the first year in its new location. The new building will initially be home to 35 of Pegasus Imaging's 50 employees and will provide for continued expansion. The recent TMSSequoia acquisition (www.pegasusimaging.com/tmssequoiarelease.htm) has provided Pegasus with extraordinary new imaging talent, and many of these employees will continue to transfer into the expanded space. New employees hired this year will primarily fill software engineering positions for product development."High tech companies like Pegasus bring high wage jobs to our community," says Kathy Castor, Hillsborough County Commissioner. "Home-grown business expansions like Pegasus are vital to the economy of Tampa Bay." The building purchase was complete in April of 2004. This announcement comes after a year of renovation, with improvements including the addition of an exercise facility, showers, two kitchens, an employee lounge, two conference rooms, and an atrium garden. Approximately 6,000 sq. ft. is currently sub-leased, providing plenty of room for further expansion as needed by Pegasus in the future. In celebration of the newly renovated space, the company's president, Jack Berlin, hosted an Open House Reception last week, boasting a successful turnout of about 150 guests. "This move not only provides for future company growth, but is also an affirmation of our commitment to a quality work space right here in the heart of Tampa Bay," says Mr. Berlin. "This is a facility that every Pegasus employee and all of Tampa Bay can be proud of, and we hope we are raising the banner for more high tech companies locating headquarters in our area.
